Kesha Cash grew up in a low-income community and was the first in her family to graduate from college before going to Wall Street and Columbia Business School, and she frames this nontraditional journey as giving her off-the-norm pattern recognition for overlooked opportunities in communities of color. She has become known as a bridge-round investor who is comfortable stepping into in-between financings to help founders hit milestones before major Series A rounds, and she encourages entrepreneurs to master their capital stack rather than chase the largest equity round.
