About David Kim
David Kim is a physician-operator turned VC who practiced as a general internist and hospitalist at Kaiser South San Francisco, where he served as Director of Urgent Care and Assistant Chief of Internal Medicine before transitioning to venture capital—an unusually senior clinical-operations background for a digital health investor. He was chosen by Astellas and MPM Capital to found and lead DigiTx Partners, a pharma-backed venture platform dedicated exclusively to digital health and digital therapeutics, and previously served as COO of Lumiata, a predictive analytics company at the intersection of data science and medical science.
